The whole night we were having guests ask us how we found you, or how long we’d be mates for because they thought you were just like an old friend! We were bombarded with nothing but love for you! We were told over and over again how unique our ceremony was and that it was the best they’d seen in ages. So really Thankyou for making it what it was - the best day ever!

Just wanted to say a huge thank you for everything you did for us yesterday and leading up to it. From dealing with our nerves and crying and reminding us when to hold hands. Even giving us a copy of the vows and speeches was an amazing touch.

We knew you would make the ceremony exactly the way we wanted and it was just beyond perfect. You went above and beyond with helping rearrange the furniture and making sure everything went smoothly and we really appreciate it. SO many people commented on what a fantastic job you did!

Letting me email and text you whenever I had a question, always replying super fast, letting us know what to do because we had no idea. You made the whole experience better and more personal than any celebrant ever. I tried to find a cute ornament of a dog in a suit (or a celebrant dog) to give you as a gift, but for some reason it's actually really hard to find ornaments of dogs in suits!? Dude. Yesterday was the raddest day ever for myself and Jojo. A massive chunk of that was your freakin’ awesome ceremony you bestowed upon us. You have skills man. We both felt totally comfortable (well as comfortable as we could be given the circumstances) with you at the helm. I know my family were just absolutely blown away by how good our celebrant was, my Dad doesn't give out compliments very often, so it's kind of a big deal :) I know I personally couldn't have asked for a better person to do the job. Your help with letting the flower girls know what to do and for making sure Ponyo was well-hydrated before walking down the aisle was just top notch.

I don't even know how to thank you for Saturday because "thank you" just does not seem to say enough. My expectations of you were high already based on the reviews I had read and our initial meetings but even so, you managed to exceed our expectations. We really wanted a unique ceremony that represented us. I don't know how you do it but you somehow manage to create a ceremony as if you have grown up with us or known us for years. Nathan and I just got back from our honeymoon and FINALLY have reception so we can send huge THANKYOU!!! Our friends and family are commenting how awesome the ceremony and celebrant was. Jordan and I can't thank you enough for creating a safe space, that meant we were able to express ourselves to the fullest - so thank-you again. I was so overwhelmed on Saturday, the love I felt from the room and specifically Jordan - and I know you played a huge part in this.

The ceremony was so 'us' and you are so much more than just a celebrant, you helped in so many ways, little bits of advice, support, your calmness and attention to detail is extraordinary and it made us feel confident and so relaxed knowing the day would be so much more than what we had expected. Across states, through bad Skype and rainy days, being cornered by my Dad who loves to talk, your amp and our guests arriving late, (I am sure there was more you took care of without us even knowing!) you helped us make the day come together!

It will be a day we will never forget and many of our guests commented on how much they loved the wording of the ceremony and our vows. This would not have happened without you giving us a little extra prompting without any pressure to write our own story to each other. We absolutely know now we would have regretted it if we had not done this even when Favian and I are two of the most reluctant (read: terrified) public speakers you can find, we would do it all over again as that is a moment I will always remember.

Thanks so much for everything you did for us!! The wedding went awesome and everyone liked how awesome you were and how different/casual it was. Worked out perfectly!

Michael and I wanted to thank you so much for your integral part in our wedding day, and for your support in the time leading up to it. I couldn’t imagine a more perfect day, and I couldn’t imagine anyone else as our celebrant, it was meant to be.

Paul was so patient, kind and made the process really easy for us. We felt quite daunted about finding a celebrant who was a good fit for us and we were so happy we found Paul. He guided us in writing our own vows, words we will treasure always and which were so lovely in part for Paul's advice a...nd input. He is a family man and a romantic at heart (we think!) who made our ceremony lovely, fun and light but at the same time, he retained the seriousness of something so special and monumental for us. He included our baby girl in the ceremony, indicative of his understanding of the wedding being about our togetherness as a family, which was the sweetest touch and made our day. We couldn't fault Paul, he is an all round awesome person and we are just beyond grateful to have him officiate at our wedding.

Paul, I honestly couldn’t imagine any of this coming together without you. We had no idea how to get the ball rolling with any of this and it wasn’t until we found you that everything seemed to pull together nicely.

People have asked us if planning a wedding was as stressful as others make it out to be, but the simple fact is, because of you it was hassle free. We chose you because you are different and that’s what we like about you. You didn’t pressure us to do or say anything that we didn’t want to but also we appreciated your input where we were stuck.

You understood that both of us are shy and tailored a ceremony to suit us in a short amount of time so that we were able to maximize our time with friends and family.

I really appreciate all of the time and effort that you put in to make this time in our lives special, totally exceeding my expectations of your job and what you do. You do it so well!

We can honestly say that from our first meeting with Paul, right the way through to the wedding day its self, we found him to be nothing but to totally invested in us and 100% committed to helping us achieve whatever it was we wanted from our wedding. Paul got to know us and our story as a couple and helped us create a ceremony that w...as so much more that what we imagined it would be. We wanted a ceremony that was low-key whilst being very meaningful and personal to us. We decided we wanted to write our own vows however being quite a private couple this became a very daunting task. We wanted to get it right so Paul helped us navigate our way through our nerves and find out exactly what we wanted to say. His help, support and encouragement in the lead up to our wedding made everything come together perfectly and we can't thank him enough. Paul remained professional throughout, whilst always being somewhat relaxed and very cool in his approach. This we loved. He helped us keep focussed on each other, nothing else mattered apart from being happy. And that we were. With Paul's help we created the happiest day of our life and we are so thankful to him.

When Brad and I began planning our wedding last year, we were disheartened by the calibre of celebrants we had to choose from. We weren’t interested in the softly-spoken, pants-suit-wearing school principal-types who insert their clearly well-worn jokes and irrelevant blather into their ceremonies, which left us with very few selections; that was until a dear friend recommended Paul to us.

We were planning our wedding from our home in Osaka, Japan and, from the get-go, Paul was all too happy to respond to our many emails and inane questioning.

Over the year, Paul has been consistently reliable, professional, and has impressed us with the world’s neatest handwriting; we had a hunch this was a good omen.

Paul won’t insert inappropriate ‘dad’ jokes, as we’ve all seen celebrants do before. He won’t rely on the old, stuffy model of wedding services—always keeping things simple and eliminating the irrelevant, meaningless parts. He discussed with us, in painstaking detail, what we wanted from our ceremony, and made recommendations about how to do things when we were unsure –which was unquestionably a common occurrence. It was all about what our personal tastes, choices, and stripping the traditional prototype back to its bare bones.

Paul offered helpful suggestions for writing our vows and encouraged us to say the things that usually go unsaid. He thought of details we wouldn’t have even considered, which would ultimately make proceedings less awkward and more natural on the day.

He was exceedingly patient, even around our unusually raucous families; and ran through things with everyone, to make us all feel at ease, despite our nerves. It was a relief to see things run so smoothly when it came to the wedding day. We have Paul to thank for that.

We doubt Paul will ever have another free weekend in his life, as we’ve recommended him to everyone we know. Sorry, pal.

Having known Paul through Kill The Music, he seemed more suited to our personal preferences and as a result the perfect choice for us. As most young couples looking to get married, we were unsure of what we could and couldn't do as part of the ceremony. Paul's easy going nature and explanation of the legality of what needs, and doesn't need to be said, made it clear and ...took the pressure off. Paul always mentioned throughout the process of planning the wedding, that it was about celebrating the couple and what embodied them as a couple. Heeding this advice from Paul, we received many compliments about the ceremony and how some guests thought Paul was a close personal friend. We couldn't recommend him highly enough.

Sam and I just wanted to thank you SO much. We were so happy with the way the ceremony turned out - it was everything we envisioned. Our friends and family have all complimented us on the ceremony (mainly YOU!) about how fantastic it was and that it was perfectly 'us'. So thank you for being able to do that for us, we appreciate it more than words can say.

Paul was an incredible Marriage Celebrant. We approached Paul to officiate our wedding after previous arrangements fell through and boy are we glad he was free! We felt at ease from our very first meeting and no matter what questions we threw at him, he always responded quickly and professionally. Paul’s calm and relaxed demeanor does not affect his professionalism and he was always happy to offer advice when we needed it and at the same time he took on board all our requests and ideas.

We were after a short and sweet ceremony, though at the same time we wanted it to represent us and our relationship as well as keep the traditional and romantic aspects in tact. Paul managed to fulfill our brief to a tee and every guest commented on how “simple and us” the ceremony was.

We don’t believe that any other celebrant would have been able to perfect our day as well as Paul did, we really couldn’t have asked for a better celebrant and we 100% recommend him to anyone!

Champing at the bit to be wed, but largely skeptical and unsure of the wedding ceremony and all it entailed, we were doubtful of finding a celebrant who understood us; who understood that we wanted to say as much as necessary, but as little as possible. Paul’s unwavering calmness and positivity reassured us. He confidently guided us through the seemingly daunting task of writing our ceremony service, and advised us as to what we needed to say, and what lines from traditional wedding ceremonies we could delightfully scrap. Once our marriage celebrant, now our friend, we have no hesitation recommending Paul to any lucky couple, looking to tie the knot.

He was so incredible, our service was personalised to us perfectly. The fact that he owns the raddest record shop in Brisbane and knows every song known to man was the biggest plus. Paul actually chose our exit song, a beautiful cover of a City & Colour track because somewhere along the way we mentioned we loved Dallas Green and he remembers.
